In The Outsiders, the most interesting character is Dally. Dally is the most interesting character because he is tough and dangerous. He can be tough and almost go to jail but that isn't all that matters to him. Dally's gone to jail multiple times and still hangs and cares about the gang. Dally is the most interesting character in the novel. Dally can put on a rumble and strut off his guns but he can still care. He can be dangerous and rob places without being caught. He has also been to jail many times and he is the most dangerous person in the gang. He also carries a heater thats not loaded that is a good bluff. He's definitely not afraid of the cops. Toughness is he's strength and weakness. Dally can be Tough and reckless but he still cares about his gang members. When Johnny was in critical care in the hospital, Dally was so sad he storms off. He looses control and robs a Grocery store. This shows that he cares about it so much and just can't handle Johnny dying. Dally cares about Johnny and other gang members. During the time when Johnny killed Bob and Pony and Johnny go to Dally's house. Dally says that he wasn't going to tell anybody and is loyal to his friends. "Dally'll get us outa here." (Hinton 58). Dally will protect them and never give away there spot. Dally is the most interesting character because he is dangerous, caring, protective, and reckless. He may be tough but he cares about his gang members and will never let them down. Dally is also trustworthy and will keep any secret you tell him. All these characteristics make Dally the most interesting character. |
